Your Resident Artist
I’m Niya. I work with large-scale acrylic paintings, drawn to abstraction, scale, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Through For The Record, I collaborate with entrepreneurs and creatives to turn their professional milestones into lasting visual works, a kind of painted archive, personal and alive.
At its core, my work is about capturing significance – noticing, preserving, and translating all of that into colour and form.

We begin with a deep-dive consultation to understand the milestone you wish to commemorate. We’ll discuss the context, the emotions, the challenges, and the triumph. This story is the soul of the artwork.
2. The Process
I translate the key elements of your story into a series of visual concepts. I work with you to refine a design that is both a beautiful piece of art and a meaningful representation of your achievement.
3. The Record
Once the concept is approved, I create the painting. The final piece is a permanent, sophisticated record of your hard work, delivered ready to display in your office or home.

What do you paint?
The subject is tailored to your professional milestone—anything from a line-item balance sheet to a first-apartment floor plan. We decide it together after an initial conversation.
How does the commission begin?
Fill out the form below to set up a call. I listen, sketch a concept, and send a brief deck for your approval. Once you sign off, I start.
What medium do you use?
Most works are acrylic on canvas. Some call for mixed media when the story benefits from added texture or materials.
How long will it take?
Two to four weeks, depending on scale and complexity. You’ll receive a firm delivery date before work starts.
What does it cost?
Pieces start at £4,000 for small canvases and scale with size, detail, and any special handling. A clear quote arrives with the concept deck.
Do you ship internationally?
Worldwide. I handle crating, insurance, and customs paperwork; you handle the unboxing.
