The First Apartment

This work is a tribute to origin stories, specifically the apartment that inspired a startup. When I first spoke with the founder behind this piece, he told me about the home-buying journey that sparked the idea for his real estate tech company. It was in the process of navigating uncertainty and making that first big decision that the vision began to take shape: a platform that simplifies and empowers first-time home buyers using AI.

Most of my work begins with observation. A moment. Something ordinary. This piece is a tribute to the spaces that shape us before we realise we’re being shaped.
